Oracle Database Security Test Drive on February 7th

The Oracle Database Security Test Drive is a one-day hands-on session for IT Managers, IT Security Architects, Developers and Oracle DBAs considering solutions to address information protection, privacy, and accountability challenges within their Oracle database environment.

At the end of the test drive, attendees will understand basic concepts for and be provided hands-on exposure to:

  • Transparent Data Encryption
  • Redaction
  • Key Vault
  • Database Vault
  • Audit Vault and Firewall
  • Subsetting and Data Masking

All material is appropriate for both 11gR2 and 12c databases.

The first 90 minutes of the test drive will be dedicated entirely to concepts for all technologies detailed above and is particularly appropriate for Managers and Architects, as well as hands-on DBA and/or Development staff. Managers and Architects should feel no obligation to stay through the rest of the day.

After the Concepts section, attendees can work hands-on modules in whatever order is appropriate to their priorities. Oracle will provide specific instruction, as required, to enable each attendee to work through the modules they want.

You’re not required to work through each and every test drive module. Spend time on the modules you want and in the order you want.
