Presentation: “7-Eleven: an Optimization Story,” presented by Cary Millsap, Method R and team members from 7-Eleven
At 7-Eleven, Oracle Agile PLM for Process is a strategic application that drives innovation and quality in their growing fresh food product line. But they had struggled for months with performance and scalability, even on Oracle’s most powerful hardware. This is the story of a game-changing four-day project that improved response times for a key part of the application by roughly 400x. You’ll hear 7-Eleven’s story from their own perspective, and you’ll learn about the repeatable method we used to optimize not just Agile PLM, but Oracle EBS and other applications as well. Finally, 7-Eleven will explain how our method is inspiring change in their approach to optimizing their whole business.
