Title: Maritz Migration for Modernization: E-Business Suite from On-Premise to the Cloud
Abstract:
Maritz embarked on a journey to modernize their legacy infrastructure by migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in order to improve processing, reduce manual processes, improve security and realize cost efficiencies. Their strategy also enabled a better response to Disaster Recovery Requirements. The project included the migration of 8 databases including E-Business Suite, the migration from Solaris to Linux, and included over 100 integration touchpoints within the OCI platform, with cloud applications, and with on-premises applications. We will discuss overall strategies for project success, key elements of the migration, and lessons learned. Key project success metrics will also be highlighted.
