And that’s a wrap. On Thursday, we were able to bring together 123 registered attendees from 6 different countries. They were on hand to attend 28 virtual sessions with 30 speakers.
I’m very proud of our partnership with the Texas Louisiana Oracle Applications and Technology Users Group (TLOATUG). A huge thanks go out to all the speakers, sponsors, board members, and moderators who donated their time and made our event a success. Because of their combined efforts, we were able to pull it off without any major technical glitches or cancelled sessions.
I am halfway through processing the recordings from Thursday’s sessions. So far, the recordings turned out really well and we hope to have those available for session attendees later this month. They will supported by a new membership product, which should work in conjunction with your previous login.
To finish out the year, we have a Database Forum in the planning stages for November. Also, we will be moving into a election cycle with a mix of new and old faces. After six years on the board, I will be stepping down in January and moving into a supporting role. Mary Elizabeth will be helping us get an Elections committee together and might be calling for volunteers. Keep your eyes on the site for updates.
